Kyland Layer 2 (Layer 2) switches are manageable or manageable Ethernet devices designed to operate reliably in electrically demanding and climatically demanding substations and industrial environments. These types of devices allow 19-inch 1U and 2U rack mounting, support 24, 28, 32 and 48 ports with fast Ethernet, gigabit and 10 gigabit configuration, supporting layer 2 software functions such as ports, VLANs, multicasting , QoS and fast redundant ring. Layer 2 switches support administration and management by console, Telnet, Web and through SNMP-based network management software.
