Kyland (Layer 3) switches are manageable or manageable Ethernet devices designed to operate reliably in electrically demanding and climatically demanding substations and industrial environments. Different Layer 3 manageable switch options allow for maximum flexibility configurations for easy expansion with multiple ports with fast Ethernet speeds of up to 10 gigabits, multiple port quantity configurations for 16, 32, 48 and 96 physical connections either by copper (RJ45) or optical fiber with the possibility of using SFP for configurable multimode fiber (Multi mode) or single mode (single mode).
Layer 3 switches support many Layer 2 software features such as port control, VLAN, multicast, QoS, fast redundant ring, and Layer 3 specific features such as RIP, OSFP, PIM-SM, PIM-DM. Layer 3 switches support administration and management by console, Telnet, Web and through SNMP-based network management software. Today, Kyland's different solutions are widely used in substations and backbones in many industrial communication systems.The devices carry a 5-year factory warranty.
