The SICOM3028GPT is an intelligent all-in-one modular platform that integrates IEEE1588v2, Sync-E, full gigabit, and both Layer 2 and Layer 3 availability, specifically designed to operate seamlessly. Reliable in electrical service substations and climate demanding industrial environments. The SICOM3028GPT supports fiber / copper ports up to 28 gigabits, complies with IEC61850 and IEEE1613 standards. The SICOM3028GPT is a 19-inch 1U rack-mount device and supports one 1U slot and six 0.5U slots offering maximum flexibility for easy expansion.
The SICOM3028GPT supports IEEE1588v2 and synchronous Ethernet protocol with hardware time stamping and supports BC, P2P TC and E2E TC Clock Modes, achieves a timing accuracy of 100 ns. Supports Power Profile and Telecom Profile, and supports many modules for synchronous sync like TimeServer, GPS and IRIG-B etc. The SICOM3028GPT supports many Layer 2 software functions such as Port, VLAN, Multicast, QoS, Fast Redundant Ring, and Layer 3 functions such as VRRP, RIP, OSFP, IGMP and PIM. Supports administration by Console, Telnet, Web and SNMP-based network management software. By expanding the serial server module, the product can provide up to 24 RS232 / 422/485 serial ports.
Today, the product is widely used in smart substations and many other industrial communication systems. The devices carry a 5-year factory warranty.
